i wonder whether the table is screwed; how can a = a + b. I think somebody tried to show how the generating functions are somehow related to legendre transforms (i.e. F2(q,P,t) = F1(q,Q,t) + QP), but i am not sure. Also, why do some of them have a positive sign for the legendre transform, something i dont understand? anton
