Encounter (Canadian TV series) → General Motors Theatre – The show ran under various titles through its history, but the one it ran under longest and was probably best known for in its native Canada was General Motors Theatre. It seems a bit silly therefore to have it listed here under an alternative title it only ran under briefly when exported to the USA. - Oppose use the sponsor neutral CBC Theatre instead -- 65.92.246.142 (talk) 22:57, 13 March 2022 (UTC)
- "GM Theatre" and "General Motors Theatre" together turn up more hits in newspapers.com search results of 1950s Canadian newspapers than "CBC Theatre". The GM title also gets some hits after. I lean to supporting the original proposal. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 07:07, 15 March 2022 (UTC)

- Support. General Motors Theatre is definitely the title under which this was best known in its own native country. Bearcat (talk) 02:08, 21 March 2022 (UTC)
