Plan to rewrite
[edit]Given the significant advances in this field in the past 4 years, I plan to rewrite this article, as is suggested, in a more encyclopedic style. I welcome any comments here or on my user page. The page should overview why AAV is a good vector for retinal disease, discuss the preclinical and clinical data, most notably the UPenn RPE65 clinical trials, and go on to discuss more recent developments and clinical studies in the field in Stargardts disease, age-related macular degeneration, color blindness, choroideremia, etc. Thatbiotechguy (talk) 18:29, 29 December 2011 (UTC)Thatbiotechguy
