Comment

[edit]

No mention of his 2 game deciding calls in 2010 ? Week 1 he cost the Lions a td that gave the Bears a dubious win. In week 7 the Pittsburgh area native gave the Steelers the ball after they fumbled, and a Dolphins player appeared to recover it in the Dolphins endzone. This game wa splayed in Miami. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Doctor-Scrumpy (talkcontribs) 15:59, 28 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Here's the short answer:
As stated at the top of this talk/discussion page. "This article must adhere to the policy on biographies of living persons. Contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately, especially if potentially libellous."
So far, there have been no volunteers willing to comply with that standard policy (in general, whenever any sports referee, umpire or official makes a controversial call, their associated Wikipedia article usually attracts a significant amount of vandalism). But feel free to be bold and add that material, as long as you apply Wikipedia's core policies of Neutral point of view, Verifiability, and No original research. Regards. Grammar and Typos

[edit]

Has no one noted the numerous grammatical errors at the beginning of the article? The first sentence especially needs to be entirely rewritten. I suggest the following: "Eugene Joseph Steratore (born February 8, 1963) is an American football official in the National Football League (NFL). He entered the league in 2003 as a field judge and was promoted to referee at the start of the 2006 season..." As opposed to "Eugene Joseph Steratore (born February 8, 1963)He is also Native American [1] is an American football official in the National Football League (NFL) since 2003. He entered the league as a field judge and was promoted to referee at the start of the 2006 season...) Ambluj (talk) 01:47, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Ambluj[reply]

Just the standard vandalism that happens after these events. Have asked for page protection. AIRcorn (talk) 05:05, 5 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
