[edit]Should delete the entire introduction because it's completely inappropriate. - TW

Genre...?
[edit]Something completely missing from this page is his genre(s). Most other singers' pages have some mention of what the genre of the artist is, and I think we should mention that here. However, I'm not quite sure what his genre would be... Any ideas? 03:03, 15 October 2008 (UTC) (otherwise known as Too Lazy To Log In)
Fair use rationale for Image:Dollowthru.jpg
[edit]Image:Dollowthru.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 01:28, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
can any one back up with information this statement: "Early on he took music lessons, including piano and voice, from Ann Trombley, a local music teacher in his hometown." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.226.197.102 (talk) 12:17, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
Edited to remove mention of Pat Patterson of DE. This wasn't sourced & the DeGraws are not related to him/her. It was his brother, Joey who encouraged him to write his own songs. Cal86w (talk) 06:44, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
Musical Genre Still Omitted
[edit]Repeating what another person noted some time ago, this entry tells us nothing about the genre or style of music that this musician composes or plays. After reading this article I have no idea at all about the type of music this guy writes. Listing the titles of songs does nothing to describe their sound to someone like me, who never heard of this musician before today. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.6.75.255 (talk) 14:52, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
Removal of "Citations Needed" Banner. Reviewed.
[edit]I have undertaken a lot of work on the page to add references and replace inappropriate information with that which is correct along with a lot of re-formatting. If anyone has an objection to me removing the banner after re-reading the page, please feel free to comment below.--Jakobalewis (talk) 10:50, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
Sweeter Live (2012)
[edit]Why does this article make no mention of (or list in the discography) the Sweeter Live album (CD/DVD/Blu-Ray) that was released in 2012? Manningmbd 14:21, 7 November 2014 (UTC)

Needs a Lot of Work
[edit]The article needs a lot of work. First, there are not enough references. Second, many of the footnotes consist of cites to DeGraw's own website, or to bios of him that are found elsewhere and are of dubious reliability. Third, some parts sound more promotional than encyclopedic. SunCrow (talk) 07:07, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
- Removed a bunch of unsourced material, much of which had been tagged for years. Removed now-obsolete tag. SunCrow (talk) 04:58, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
- The tone of the article has been fixed. I added some sources and facts and removed obsolete tags. I added some inline tags. I'd say there are roughly a dozen places that are either unsourced or unreliably sourced, which is a big improvement. SunCrow (talk) 05:44, 26 December 2019 (UTC)
