There is absolutely no reason why Gator Bowl broadcasters should be split from Gator Bowl. That list is an ugly little stub that is only 3kb long. Gator Bowl is 35 kb long, much of which is tables and lists, well within the limits of WP:SIZE. In the edit summary here you are correct that there was never any consensus to split; it was split without any reason given here. A single article is only 37kb long, which is permitted. There is abolutely no reason to be split. Reywas92Talk16:22, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
In the early years of the bowl, from 1946–1952, it featured a team from the Southern Conference against an at-large opponent. Beginning with the 1953 game, it switched to generally featuring a Southeastern Conference (SEC) team against an at-large opponent.
As written, it appears to be showing a change starting in 1953, but there is no change at all--both before and after 1953 the game featured an SEC team against an at-large team. Could someone who knows about this fix it? Unschool04:30, 29 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Near the top of the page "2017 Matchup" score is reversed.
Mississippi State 31 Louisville 27
That's the correct score, which is stated correctly at the bottom of the table.
I was there. Hail State! Myboo127 (talk) 23:07, 2 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
