limitations of x-radiography
[edit]The article states "The diagnosis is typically made by X-ray, which will show an absent air bubble in the stomach"!! Quite a trick. Do you have a citation for that?Plantsurfer (talk) 17:52, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
- I agree it would be quite the trick. I added a more consistent X-ray showing a clear gastric air-fluid level and a grossly dilated stomach -- Samir 11:00, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
Projectile Vomiting
[edit]...redirects to this article. Therefore I think it would be appropriate to explain what(tf) Projectile Vomiting is. --BjKa (talk) 17:14, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
- Article seems very human-centric. Does PV occur in no other species? --121.220.198.49 (talk) 03:54, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
Merger proposal
[edit]Pyloric stenosis and Gastric outlet obstruction have the same ICD10 code and seem to address a similar thing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tenbergen (talk • contribs) 03:14, 26 October 2017 (UTC)
- Closed as no merge These are complete different things. One is Q40.0, the other is K31.1. Will work to clarify. Specifically Gastric outlet obstruction is a big category well pyloric stenosis is one specific type usually used to refer to the condition in newborns. - Thanks, turns out the ICD10 codes were wrong in wikidata which I use to link to wikipedia by ICD10 code. I fixed it there. Tenbergen (talk) 22:35, 30 November 2017 (UTC)
