Hi, You requested comments at the Poetry Project page, so I thought I'd swing by and have a neb. The article looks fine to me. I don't know Miranda's work. I'm sure you are in the middle of collectinng ideas and are covering these things, but I'd flag these points
- It's not clear in the article yet why Miranda would be notable enough to have a page. There are a million poets out there who have contributed to the same magazines. Have a neb at the Wikipedia:Notability (people) page.
- I'd amend the headings to 'Poetry collections' and 'Prose collections' so that editors don't add individual essays, articles or poems to the list.
- Perhaps to get a crit section in early, as they are the hardest to write - themes, reception, development as a writer etc. It might encourage other editors to add if you start one.
- Mention what kind of poet he is - what school he is inspired by, who he was mentored by, is he mostly lyrical, post-modernist, nature based etc.
I hope that helps. Best wishes Span (talk) 01:26, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
- Good work Thelma. Best wishes Span (talk) 09:50, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
