Notability of the article's subject

Hello,

With respect to the proposed deletion of the subject article that referenced WP:GNG (proposed deletion cited below; I removed it from the infobox per Wikipedia instructions), the subject of the article has received significant mentions online, and in print in the decades prior to the internet, many of them cited in the references in the Wikipedia article for the subject. The proposed deletion objection was made so immediately after the Wikipedia article was created, it is possible that adequate time to read and study the references in the article that support the subject's notability may not have occurred. Consideration to reading the references will demonstrate that the subject meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines. For example, in 2020 the subject was recognized by a noted rock critic (himself the subject of a Wikipedia article) as having written and recorded one of the "Classic Albums By Young Musicians: 25 Age-Defying Greats" by rock journalist Brett Milano, alongside musicians including U2, Amy Winehouse, Stevie Wonder, Ritchie Valens, Kate Bush, The Beach Boys, and more; he commended the subject's second album also.

The individual in the band is notable in his own right because his achievements transcend the band itself, as documented in the article. He was a member of more than one notable band, and contributed to recordings with notable musicians outside the band.

If musicians whose achievements have included recording their albums with noted producers and guest musicians, touring with "supergroup" rock bands, headlining a tour promoted by a major record label to support the release of their self-produced second album, and having their music on six progressive rock compilations alongside Deep Purple and Pink Floyd, among other achievements, are not notable, it may raise the question whether Wikipedia notability guidelines may need re-evaluating, or at least more clarification of what is notable.

I would welcome feedback that addresses these issues and clarifies what should be considered notable.
