Notability?
[edit]I query the need for a Notability flag. This article was created with an explanation of the doctor's national significance in the abortion debate. He's the only Canadian doctor who has survived two assassination attempts. The reference links included the Washington Post, the National Post, The British Medical Journal, the Canadian Medical Association Journal, CBS News, and CBC News in a story that spans years. His story is important because he is one of the witnesses to life in a hospital's septic abortion ward. We now have the anti-abortion folks denying that those wards ever existed. He is certainly as notable as any rock band's ex-drummer. --Monado (talk) 06:37, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
- Notability tag was added somewhat overzealously. Removed. Archaios (talk) 13:07, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
