Hmmm, "It is an article about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content that does not assert the importance or significance of the subject. ". Two euphoric citations of renowned critics are not enough? Denis Barthel (former known as Denisoliver) 23:57, 27 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Garfield Akers. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

I'll review this. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 20:36, 21 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The image tag for the 78 rpm is incorrect. Per File:VocalionDapper.jpg the Vocalion logo has expired copyright, so there's no need for a FUR. Since the image is PD the incorrect tagging won't affect this GA, but you may want to fix it anyway.

  • The source in FN4 is given as "Gayle Dean Wardlow: Garfield Akers – From the Hernando Cottonfields … , p. 27" which is not enough to locate the source for verification. Is this a book? Same for FN6.
  • Starkville High School is not a reliable source.
  • What makes juneberry78s.com a reliable source?
  • "because it was too dangerous for them there": why was it dangerous?
  • There are several unsourced sentences in the article -- at the end of both paragraphs of "Recording", and at the end of the "Work" section.
  • "without any special emphasis or a ternary shuffle rather boring": looks like an incompletely edited sentence?
  • "so that the actual heavy times are shifted": what does "heavy time" mean?
  • I think you probably mean "drama", not "dramaturgy".
