Cave name

[edit]

Isn't it spelt "Gardner's Gut"? A Google test seems to support this, as does this 1966 encyclopaedia article and the NZ Speleological Society's handbook. I'll move the article if no one objects. -- Avenue 21:31, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No objection, really. Should have checked it out better in the first place, I guess. That would make it easier to find references too ;-) MadMaxDog 07:23, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Didn't know you had any caving interests, Avenue! You've done any? MadMaxDog 10:37, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Not much, and it's been quite a while since I did any. But I do like outdoor pursuits in general. (For some reason I think of caving as "outdoors".) I'll move the page, by the way. -- Avenue 13:01, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If you are interested in doing it again, tell me and I'll give you a heads-up before our next beginners trip with the club. Though you just missed this years official one, which made me write the article (though I was in there before). Cheers. MadMaxDog 19:10, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
