What is the intended scope of the article?
[edit]Thanks for a great article, by Eunhye Grace I presume. Is the article intended to be primarily on the mechanisms of gap junction modulation with examples of what might be happening when modulation goes right or wrong? Or perhaps the area of what gap junction modulation does in the normally functioning organism is intended to be expanded to become the meat of the article? If the later the article would be wider but perhaps too big a bite of information for the average reader. Would there be any interest in expanding the normal function of gap junction modulation in organisms until it becomes too big and then branch off more articles? Perhaps we should start new articles on this normal functioning straight away? For example, the implications of "normal" as well as the "abnormal" gap junction pathways and their regulation in the heart is so popular in research and medicine it could be an article on its own called Gap junction modulation in the heart. There is already an article on Vinnexin in this category for example. I'll add it to the see also section. Feel free to remove it if it seems in appropriate but the way the wasp modulates the caterpillars function is like something out of the alien movie series. Tgru001 (talk) 05:12, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
