Gaoshi Shrine
Gaoshi Shrine
  • ... that Gaoshi Shrine (pictured) is the first Shinto shrine constructed in Taiwan after the island's Japanese rule? Source: [1]: "2015年重建,是台灣戰後第一座供奉神祇的神社"; literal translation of quoted sentence: "Reconstructed in 2015, [Gaoshi Shrine] is Taiwan's first Shinto Shrine after World War II." Japan's colonial rule over Taiwan ended after World War II.
    • ALT1:... that Gaoshi Shrine (pictured) is the first Shinto shrine constructed in Taiwan after World War II?

  • New enough. Long enough (1700+ chars). Inline citations throughout. Sources in Chinese; Google Translate bears out the gist in most cases -- except for the hook. Google Translate on the listed source [2] doesn't say anything about it being the first post-WWII shrine in Taiwan. Can you double check? QPQ is done. I prefer the main hook but you might want to tweak it -- e.g., "Gaoshi Shrine (pictured) is the first Shinto shrine constructed in Taiwan post-Japanese rule of the island?
