References for redlinks
[edit]These redlinked or non-article items were added with references, which are not appropriate on disambiguation pages. Inclusion of the redlink Ganges (convict ship) is also questionable as there are no other incoming links and no articles that mention the vessel (i.e., there is nothing in Wikipedia that requires disambiguation), but since there is a reasonable likelihood of an article (or at least some significant mention within another article) I'm leaving the link for now. older ≠ wiser 15:26, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
- * Ganges (convict ship), was a 700 ton convict ship built in 1794 that arrived in Sydney, Australia on 2 June 1797, captained by Thomas Patrickson. [1]
- * The first ship that carried Telugus to Mauritius was one Ganges from the port of Korangi in coastal Andhra Pradesh in 1837. [2] During the gold rush of 1852, the Ganges was one of the ships used to transport Chinese labourers to Australia. [3]

[edit]Where is the river Ganga I am searching for it ? All I can see on this story is Ganges in USA, France and Canada, or Ganges is a river in Hongkong. I am very confused because Ganga is a very big river of Indian sub-continent. BodoSingh (talk) 23:30, 19 March 2023 (UTC)
