Early content

[edit]

I know this article is just getting underway, and I wish it luck, but there a couple of issues with it as it currently stands in my opinion. Material available at wikisource should be linked to there, but not included here in its entirety. Also, this is the English language wikipedia, but this article currently has a lot of non-English text. The content of that text, if it merits inclusion in the article, ought to be summarized in English. Cheers and happy editing! :) WikiDao(talk) 05:49, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Help

[edit]

I am new. Whenever I am trying to rectify and removing the Hanuman Chalisa (that I have put by mistake) and replace it with the Ganesh Chalisa it is being reverted back. Pl advise how to go about it. I will nominate the article for deletion per your request. When you restart it, please be sure to attend to the comments in the preceding section and any other applicable WP guidelines. Regards, WikiDao(talk) 16:59, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I am not sure that deletion was what the author wanted: Munnanmisra, if you did want this page deleted, please place {{db-author}} at the top. But I have removed the extended text. Wikipedia is not the place for it, per WP:NOFULLTEXT, and it is already on Wikisource. JohnCD (talk) 19:25, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tusk

[edit]

I removed this text which said that Ganesh lost his trunk as a result of writing the Mahabarata. The chalisa at wikisource says ... oops, my fault. That's about losing his head. Sorry, just trying to help. Will restore text if it hasn't been already. WikiDao(talk) 02:45, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

(munnanmisra (talk) 08:37, 7 October 2010 (UTC)) Hope it is progressing well - There has been a death in our family - I shall be away for sometime. Regards[reply]
