I am removing the tag "{\{Music-importance|date=January 2007}\}" from the Gandalf Murphy page because I believe that the band easily meets a number of the criteria for Music "Notability". DanTappan 12:25, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
Thank you... Mogwit 15:06, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- I strongly agree that there is clear Notability. They have several successful CD's, an active and growing tour schedule, wide-spread recognition, and an enduring success with an original style. Ryvr 01:34, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
The band's official biography page states that her name is Tink. Tinkerbell is mentioned nowhere. Inchyally
The band's web page is one source of information, but not the only one. For example, she has been introduced on stage, by her husband, as "the lovely Tinkerbell Lloyd". DanTappan 21:51, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
I asked Tink, and she said that her preference was for it to say something like "Tink (derived from 'Tinkerbell')". DanTappan 12:12, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
The band's religious background is a significant part of their identity. This should be mentioned in the article. Comacull (talk) 06:36, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
- "significant part of their identity" is debatable. It is not part of the band's public identity, and there is no overt association with the church. There is no evidence whether band members are currently associated with the church. In any case. band members private life is not relevant to the public persona of the band.
