919th OG was not given a separate award

[edit]

They were deployed under the 16th OG's deployed units and were given their award as a member of the 16th OG (please read the citation). No one is detracting from the honor which they recieved. It is both right and proper to acknowledge the accomplishment, but it was not given to the 919 OG directly; they were a subordinate unit in this citiation. Only 4 units?

[edit]

If only 4 units have been awarded this, then why is Gen. Hyten wearing the ribbon with a silver oak leaf cluster? Gecko G (talk) 02:05, 22 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

He's not, it's an OUA. I updated his article. EricSerge (talk) 18:07, 25 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Ah... good catch. thanks. Gecko G (talk) 00:58, 28 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
