Article tone
[edit]The tone of this article is verging on the pornographic. Could use a re-write from somebody who isn't typing one-handed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.176.60.118 (talk) 08:17, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
- Verging? I think the entire 'worm rape' segment should start with the words 'Dear Penthouse Forum'!!!
What I want to know is this....when the author writes "her climax ending with her death" does that mean she is "coming and going at the same time"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.67.104.4 (talk • contribs) 13:38, January 21, 2010
True, but the scene itself is very pornographic. If the scene is going to be described as it plays it, the description will be pornographic, more or less, although the description does avoid using vulgarities. The question you have to ask is...is the description accurate or not? If it is accurate, the scene being what it is, I don't see the complaint. If there are inaccuracies within, they need to be corrected or modified. And if the subject matter is simply off-limits for Wikipedia, then the entire section needs to be removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.58.83.37 (talk) 23:36, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
Changes made as of July 25th update the article to "present tense" in its information on the Shout! release of July 20, 2010. It also directly cites the commentary on that release as to the "worm scene" which prompted changes in that section as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tommac84 (talk • contribs) 11:06, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
Changes made as of November 24th are updated to reflect more accurate quoting of sources and information from the Shout! DVD release of 2010. It also attempts to be more specific about details surrounding the film's cult status. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tommac84 (talk • contribs) 17:42, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
