Talk:Galatz Roller
Appearance
I feel I should comment on this article, it's just too perplexing. Was it perchance written by Lewis Carroll?
- "The breed was created in Romania" - the breed of what? Lizards? Bears? Snakes?
- "near the region of Galaţi city" - if it's "near the region of a city", where the hell is it? By the region? In the region next to the region?
- "The Galati tumbler is well-known for its fast and consecutive rolls while in diferent varieties of colors" - I may not be familiar with the jargon, but I don't get how it rolls, and, for the love of me, I don't understand why it changes colour when it does so :). And was this to say that it has different colour themes? I mean: it doesn't have "a wide variety of colours", but "dif[f]erent varieties of colors"...
- "It has a small and delicate peak with a round head and clear white eyes" - It has a PEAK? And the peak has a HEAD? Why isn't the head of the peak the actual peak? And do the eyes belong to the creature, or to its peak?
- "An easy to keep pigeon" - Despite the fact that it keeps rolling and changing colour?
- "however sensible to low-temperature during the winter period" - does it write beautiful poems on "low-temperature"? Does it become contemplative? Or is this to say that common sense dawns on the poor creature when winter sets in, and only then? Dahn 20:38, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- That was funny; I almost felt sorry removing the surrealist aspects. Biruitorul 00:47, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- how it rolls --> Roller Pigeons flip over while flying. The pigeon performing the most flips in a predefined time "wins". --PigeonIP (talk) 17:25, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
