under "diagnosis", a blood and urine test is described that looks for 3 enzymes that break down galactose. However, it references that galactose is a sugar found in milk and milk products, when it is actually LACTOSE that is found in milk and milk products, and our bodies metabolize it into galactose + glucose. This seems rather USA centric at the moment. On a global basis the majority of cases are surely not picked up through newborn screening so it would be nice to have more about presentation eg cataracts, jaundice etc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.155.149.91 (talk) 10:29, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
