About his name
[edit]If Clodius Nummus was adopted by one L. Acilius Strabo (suf. cos. 80), where did the "Curiatius Maternus" bit come from? There is another personage, one M. Cornelius Nigrinus Curiatius Maternus (suf. cos. 83). Which may mean Clodius Nummus was first adopted by will by Maternus, then again by Acilius Strabo. While there are other examples of a person being adopted by more than one person (e.g. Q. Pompeius Falco & his decendants), this is admittedly unusual.
