[edit]Added an edit about Jefferson's contributions to Conversational Analysis in the fourth paragraph as well as some tiny details in the second paragraph. What else can Conversational Analysis be used for other than identifying speech patterns and annotating a conversation?
Just worked on paraphrasing the second part of the Conversational Analysis section as it was all plagiarized from several sources.
