[edit]The description of Taltree is inaccurate. It is about 110 acres in size and is not a nature preserve, nor is it an example of an oak savanna or restored areas. Part of it is park-like with manicured lawns and gardens, and part of it is former cornfields that have been planted with prairie grasses. Wetlands have been turned into ponds and the landscaping is artificial and does not preserve natural habitats. There are grass trails that are great for walking and running. Many people do like this kind of "green space", but the advertising needs to be more truthful, so people looking for natural areas don't waste their time here. 33sammy33 13:27, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
