This article should adhere to the gender identity guideline because it contains material about one or more non-binary people. Precedence should be given to self-designation as reported in the most up-to-date reliable sources, anywhere in article space, even when it doesn't match what's most common in reliable sources. Any person whose gender might be questioned should be referred to by the pronouns, possessive adjectives, and gendered nouns (for example "man/woman", "waiter/waitress", "chairman/chairwoman") that reflect that person's latest expressed gender self-identification. Many, but not all, non-binary people go by singular they pronouns, which are acceptable for use in articles. This applies in references to any phase of that person's life, unless the subject has indicated a preference otherwise. Former, pre-transition names may only be included if the person was notable while using the name; outside of the main biographical article, such names should only appear once, in a footnote or parentheses. If material violating this guideline is repeatedly inserted, or if there are other related issues, please report the issue to the LGBTQ+ WikiProject, or, in the case of living people, to the BLP noticeboard. |
This biographical article uses the pronouns they/them. |
This article must adhere to the biographies of living persons (BLP) policy, even if it is not a biography, because it contains material about living persons. Contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately from the article and its talk page, especially if potentially libellous. If such material is repeatedly inserted, or if you have other concerns, please report the issue to this noticeboard. If you are a subject of this article, or acting on behalf of one, and you need help, please see this help page. |

Got more bio?
[edit]I'm sure it's out there in Google-land, but I want to read it easily.
Ethnicity: Italian, Greek?
Uncle that gave her the drums... famous? in a band?
Why holed up in 2017? (Is there a story there?)
PS: "Pining interest"? I think that should be "pending", or "pursuing"; or maybe "following". A 10 June 2019 input.

[edit]Anyway, got number 2, which is alright, isn't it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.146.183.111 (talk) 13:11, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
I think G Flip's birthdate should be removed.
[edit]I'm honestly very iffy about the birth date in the infobox. I know there are 2 sources (one from People Magazine and another from the Sydney Morning Herald) stating that G Flip celebrated their 30th birthday in September 2023 (likely on September 22)... but in 2022, there were several articles, one of which was also from People Magazine, stating that they were celebrating their 28th birthday.
Honestly, at this point, I would just remove the birth date entirely (or leave 1993/1994 and set the age to be either 29 or 30) - at least until there is some confirmation from the artist themselves (or a loved one) confirming a specific birth date, or at least confirming the year.
For reference, here are the sources stating their 28th birthday was in September 2022:
https://people.com/home/chrishell-stause-celebrates-g-flip-sweet-birthday-tribute/ - People, published 09/21/2022 (the day before G Flip's birthday): "On Wednesday, a day prior to G Flip's 28th birthday, the Selling Sunset star shared a sweet tribute on Instagram to celebrate her partner's milestone."
https://www.eonline.com/news/1347433/chrishell-stause-pens-birthday-message-to-sexy-musical-genius-g-flip - E! News, published 09/22/2022: "Chrishell Stause is flipping out over her partner's 28th birthday."
https://www.etonline.com/chrishell-stause-calls-partner-g-flip-a-sexy-musical-genius-in-birthday-tribute-191361 - Entertainment Tonight, published 09/22/2022: "Chrishell Stause can't stop gushing about her partner, G Flip. The 41-year-old Selling Sunset star took to Instagram on Wednesday to celebrate the 28th birthday of the Australian musician." Afddiary (talk) 16:08, 16 February 2024 (UTC)
