Vote to keep
[edit]I vote to keep this article, after correcting letter case in the name (the program name is GPSBabel), and moving this page to a redirect. Several existing articles mention GPSBabel. Teratornis 04:30, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
- I moved the article from gpsbabel to GPSBabel, made the old article a redirect, added some content and an infobox to the article, and linked the existing references to GPSBabel in other articles to this article. I removed the notice for deletion. Teratornis 05:41, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
- A wikipedia search is not valid for establishing notability. Please read WP:SOFTWARE for more information on what makes a valid software article. ju66l3r 19:26, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
- The obvious place to look for an independant published work about it would be chapter 51 of the Mapping Hacks book, ISBN 0596007035 "Speak in Geotongues: GPSBabel to the Rescue"Ojw 01:25, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
