Notability of this document: I believe this document is quite notable because it is an application that is distributed with Gnome and operating systems that millions of people use. There are several other computer application related articles on Wikipedia that far less notable. In addition there is this article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minesweeper_(computer_game) which is clearly related to this one.
References of this document: Please add more references and contribute to this document. In addition, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minesweeper_(Windows) contains far less references most of which are not very credible so please delete that article before this one. This article contains several references including the official page for the game. The official change log file corroborates practically all statements I have presented here. The reference to Bugzilla proves that there was once a bug reported as a described and besides you can adduce all of this from reading the change log file.
It is a fact that this program is written in C and its images are in SVG just look at the SVN repository. In addition things like how it adds ten seconds are basic facts look at the source code. I do not think I need to corroborate all these basic facts so for now I think the references are adequate however if you have anything to add please do so.
- Thankyou for giving this article some attention, however the references to mailing lists, forums, etc should be removed, per our policy on self-published sources. Has Gnomine been noted by any reliable, published sources? Marasmusine (talk) 00:00, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- it is already included by default in GNOME, and also in Ubuntu, I think that alone would be enough to "save it from deletion"... Jerebin (talk) 03:47, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- I don't mean for the notability guidelines, I mean for WP:V, which is policy. Marasmusine (talk) 10:13, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, sorry... my mistake... Jerebin (talk) 14:58, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
