G5
[edit]As I continue listening to the news, it appears to me that G5 more accurately refers to the group formed by the 5 emerging economies which are:
China India Brazil Mexico South Africa

- Different G5, "G" is just a generic term for lots of groups formed for different goals, sometimes they have the same number of members. See the disam. pages. - J Logan t: 15:17, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
Merge
[edit]As the G6 is mainly in the PJC pillar, perhaps it should be merged into that article? PJC is a small article already anyway, or should it be kept broader - is it on other issues too? Not sure how it would change with the Reform Treaty, the pillar would go but Sarko called for it to lead the EU. Can people find any more data on it? It is hard to research. - J Logan t: 15:17, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
Pillar system
[edit]How does the abolition of the pillar system affect this topic? --Khajidha (talk) 15:10, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
majority
[edit]If Malta was in G6 (making it G7), then it would have a majority. As it is, 21 countries can outvote G6. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.189.103.145 (talk) 09:44, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
Update
[edit]What happened to the G6 after Britain leaving EU? Did group dissolve or is it now another G5 or has another joined? --2A02:908:C33:8D80:6129:9200:80DC:5776 (talk) 21:36, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
