Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because...I am still researching there isn't much on any of the Afghanistan Olympic teams in the days, so i used Sports Reference as a start as i have never found them to have incorrect information yet, so i thought that it would be good enough to start with. --Iantheimp 21:11, 22 June 2014 (UTC)

Per WP:NOLYMPICS, any athlete that competed in an Olympic games is presumed to be notable, so the article has a claim to significance, so fails WP:A7. GB fan 22:43, 22 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
