Citation need re death

I have put a citation need against his stated death in 1942. Olympedia does not give a death cause though it places his death in Leningrad in 1942 and it does not include him in its list of Olympians who died as a result of war unlike his team mates Fillipov, Uversky and Yakovlev. His Russian language profile states gives the same death year and location but the main text states his fate after 1914 "is unknown".Cloptonson (talk) 13:52, 9 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
