Fuzhou South railway station (Metro) → Fuzhou South Railway Station (Metro) – Restore caps since the metro station is named for the railway station. Dicklyon (talk) 21:08, 29 December 2017 (UTC)
- This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 04:41, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Dicklyon: History of back-and-forth moves, so best discuss. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 04:42, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
- Background discussion at User_talk:JJMC89#Hongqiao_railway_station_(metro). As far as I know, no editor has expressed an opinion for lowercasing here, where the metro station is named for the railway station. Dicklyon (talk) 04:53, 30 December 2017 (UTC)

- Support, per Dicklyon I think there was agreement here we would capitalize in this case. Maybe lowercase (metro) like Hongqiao railway station (metro)? But then theres also Shanghai Railway Station (Metro) and South Shanghai Railway Station (Metro). Heights(Want to talk?) 05:39, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
- On another note (off-topic sorry), it seems like South Shanghai Railway Station (Metro) was moved from Shanghai South Railway Station (Metro) without consensus. I think we should move it back to the latter as the official name is still Shanghai South. Heights(Want to talk?) 05:42, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
- Question - After discussion, I listed this page as probably needing to be moved to its current title, and it was moved. Does anyone know the definitive name: is it a railway station (on the metro) called "Fuzhou South", or a metro station specifically serving, and named after, the nearby Fuzhou South railway station? The same points apply to Hongqiao and a few others. Certes (talk) 09:45, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Certes: It's the latter, a Fuzhou Metro metro station (i.e. subway station) serving, and named after the Fuzhou South railway station. Heights(Want to talk?) 15:06, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
- Support then, with my apologies for not spotting this exception earlier. Certes (talk) 00:31, 31 December 2017 (UTC)
