Göschenen, and not Göschenin.

The Schöllenenbahn It runs with 1,200 V DC. It was electrified in 1941 and the current is 11,000 V. ??? There is a cute contradiction here! Peter Horn 23:04, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

From the German Wikipedia page on the Schöllenenbahn: "Ursprünglich war die SchB mit 1200 Volt Gleichstrom elektrifiziert, 1941 wurde sie jedoch umelektrifiziert auf das gerade bei der FO installierte Stromsystem von 11000 Volt Wechselstrom, um einen problemloseren Fahrbetrieb zu ermöglichen. Der Fahrbetrieb der beiden Gesellschaften war von Beginn an eng gekoppelt; 1961 wurde dann die SchB von der FO übernommen."

If anyone can translate this, it might help to clarify things. My guess is that it was originally at 1200 volts, then upgraded to 11,000 volts.
