[edit]Can someone please update the consonants to use IPA? y isn't an IPA consonant, and I'm really lost when it says that z and y are allophones. And ñ isn't IPA, either. 35.11.50.219 06:35, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- Fixed. In African languages and linguistics, whenever you come across an y you should interpret it as something palatal, usually the palatal approximant [j], sometimes palatalization. — mark ✎ 08:17, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- I've delisted this from GA status, there are only three references, no inline citations, and certain sections (especially those pertaining to semantics and conjugation) are lacking in information. The ikiroid (talk·desk·Advise me) 16:31, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
