No Relation to Jungian thought?
[edit]I am assuming there is no direct relationship between Functional Analytic Psychotherapy and Jung's Analytical psychology, other than similarity in name. Confirm/disconfirm? -- 1000Faces (talk) 20:16, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
- True, FAP is based on Skinner's functional analysis of behavior. However, in a sense, psychoanalytic approaches such as Freud, Sullivan, Jung, etc. are the only other approaches (other than Skinner and contemporary Skinnerians such as Kohlenberg, Hayes, and Dougher) to psychological theory that attempt a comprehensive analysis of human experience. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chaunceyiv (talk • contribs) 00:24, 13 October 2013
