[edit]Why is this page not entitled Fulwood ward when it clearly covers a much larger area than the village of Fulwood? Ranmoor and Lodge Moor are in the electoral ward but are not in Fulwood itself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zenith88 (talk • contribs) 19:20, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
- Because we have a single, five sentence paragraph about Fulwood, so as for the other Sheffield districts, information on a number of districts has been grouped into a single article rather than having multiple short articles that mostly duplicate each other. —Jeremy (talk) 19:53, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
Requested move
[edit]- The following discussion is an archived discussion of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the proposal was move per request. I will also move the dab page to this title.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 13:59, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
Fulwood → Fulwood, South Yorkshire — This article should probably be moved and replaced with a disambiguation page, as there is no primary topic for Fulwood (Fulwood, Lancashire is at least as notable; there is also a Fulwood in Nottinghamshire although that one probably only needs a redirect to the town it became part of). Other articles in Category:Wards of Sheffield are disambiguated in two different ways: either "(ward)" or "South Yorkshire"; it's unclear which of these would be more appropriate. snigbrook (talk) 00:04, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
- Support — I have started a dab page, so add a second page move to this request. --Una Smith (talk) 05:25, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
