Controversy?

[edit]

I don't approve of the controversy section. First of all, references? Where was the controversy? This is certainly the first I've heard of it. Also, what's this about "the kids making the movie were trying to make a point." Isn't it just a commercial? What's up with this? --Skunkboy74 (talk) 07:42, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have actually removed this section of the article since it was made by User:66.140.63.222 who, in the same edit also added "Poop", "Pee", and "Fart Flava" under the list of flavors. --Skunkboy74 (talk) 07:49, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

6 feet?

[edit]

Did they use to be 6 feet per roll? I know this seems like a ridiculous amount of candy, but for some reason I remember commercials from the late 90s exclaiming "Six Feet of Fun!" --Fez2005 (talk) 05:57, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think Bubble Tape bubble gum made this claim. --Nobody2000 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.17.7.220 (talk) 22:07, 14 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Where's the link? Or citation even?Serival (talk) 03:13, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

OK, so, after finding zero citations on this page, and the 'external links' catergory lacking... well, an external link I did a little digging and found what appears to be the first commercial, as it was airing January 24, 1991. I'm not terribly familiar with the rules but it doesn't look like this can be added, so maybe the external links section should be blanked entirely?Serival (talk) 03:24, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ingredients list is confusing

[edit]

"Fruit by the Foot contains protein, fiber, iron, calcium, or Vitamin A." Well, which ones? Should it say "and"? 2A00:23C5:FE0B:700:655E:B06E:9B65:DAE1 (talk) 02:22, 29 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
