Born in Lienz, but growing up in Gerlamoos
[edit]Fritz was born in Lienz - there is a delivery suite in the hospital. But his parents did (do) live at the small village Gerlamoos in the community Steinfeld, Carinthia - and Fritz did grow up there and is a member of the "Steinfeld Ski Club". Skiscout (talk) 15:23, 20 January 2017 (UTC)
Friedel, Fritz the Cat - another notes
[edit]Fritz is derivated from the name "Friedrich" (like Friedrich Schiller), therefore he also was (is) called "Friedel" (or "Friedl"). Another term of endearment was "Fritz the Cat" for his style in racing like a cat (being creeping). He is a police. He is married since 1999 and has two children. First win was a great surprise - he could achieve it with the behind bib number 43. (Cit.: the German Wikipedia). Skiscout (talk) 15:35, 20 January 2017 (UTC)
