"Fritz was a pejorative nickname given to Germans during World War II."
I thought it was WW I? Does anybody know more about that?
Um, is "pulling a fritz" really a term for pleasing a man anally or is this just vandalism? I bet its vandalism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 169.233.20.159 (talk) 23:02, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Nickname vs. Given Name
[edit]Currently there seems to be very little reason for why some entries are listed under Nickname while others are listed under Given Name. Many entries under given name are people who used Fritz as a shortened version of a longer name, which would generally be considered a nickname. Is there a standard for how these are classified?
