Prioritizing it as a Social Gaming site is really doing its historical importance a disservice

Surely in parts of the world it was indeed most known as a social gaming service, but in the U.S. market (which is a big chunk of the English Wikipedia's target audience), Friendster was "the first major social network," not "a Malaysian platform for social games." The fact that it was -ever- a Malaysian social gaming webpage is probably not known by the vast majority of people on the English Wikipedia. The entire article should be rewritten to discuss its origins and progress and decline and rebirth as a Malaysian social gaming platform, particularly now that it is apparently dead. 50.137.99.126 (talk) 03:12, 25 October 2015 (UTC)
