"Interestingly, not all rune scholars subscribed wholeheartedly to the racist, anti-Semitic interpretation of the Eddas. For example, one rune occultist, Friedrich Bernhard Marby (1882- 1966), synthesised rune scholarship with astrology after encountering the writings of Guido von List."

What's that? Marbys Weltanschauung was based on racism. You can read that in all of his works. (WI) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.62.163.121 (talkcontribs)

Yes, the long quote blocks raise both NPOV and copyright concerns. They should be rephrased. In fact, Kummer and Marby just like Wiligut produced racialist BS. Marby-Kummer may not have been actual Nazis, but that doesn't change their basic racialist outlook. dab (𒁳) 19:01, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know anything about runic occultism, but I've edited the article simply in addressing copyright concerns. I can't access the Baker source, but I did find another. It may have further discussion on racial implications. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:17, 26 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
