[edit]Wikipedia is used extensively bt children of many countries, and giving internal wikilinks for cities shall be useful in my opinion. --Bhadani (talk) 15:10, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
Are there two F. Rosens?
[edit]Is this Sanskritist actually the same person as the "Frederic Rosen" who translated Al-Khwarizmi's Algebra? WorldCat shows one edition of the Algebra under "Friedrich August Rosen" and others under "Frederic"; the copy I've seen has the English name on the title page. Harvard's library catalog (very good on older books) lists the German and English guys separately but has copies of the Algebra under each one! It's not implausible but it's not yet clear to me whether there's one person here or two. A. Mahoney (talk) 14:33, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
- Aha! Allgemeine deutsche bibliographie answers the question -- just one person. Nice to know! A. Mahoney (talk) 14:36, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
