Too much gossip and Twitter sourcing
[edit]This reads like it should be in a gossip magazine, not an encyclopedia. What would the article look like with strict high-quality RS sourcing, and without swathes of primary sourcing to tweets? - David Gerard (talk) 10:04, 1 June 2023 (UTC)
- I thought information sourced via tweet was allowed under stringent guidelines which this seems to fit. As far as reading like it should be in a gossip magazine, I’m not exactly sure what you mean by that, I tried to source solely factual neutral information that I could cite via credible sources. Please feel free to let me know what changes you think should be made and what areas you specifically are concerned about Kdog5454 (talk) 07:04, 2 June 2023 (UTC)
- I should also add, the twitter sourcing is for tweets that were linked in articles, I provided the tweets only when using direct quotes from them. Kdog5454 (talk) 07:05, 2 June 2023 (UTC)
This was never a standalone podcast
[edit]Pinging substantial recent contributors Kdog5454, Ssilvers, and LaVozSA with the question: Why was this article recreated? The resolution of the 2021 RfD discussion was, from my vantage point, the only sensible one, especially given the amorphous nature of what's produced at H3h3Productions. As referenced in the title, this article is factually inaccurate in claiming that this was its own podcast using the criteria developed by WikiProject Podcasts at Wikidata (wd:WPP), the primus inter pares of which being the existence of a distinct Atom/RSS web feed document enumerating the episodes. I searched high and low after pulling this entry off the top of the workstack at wd:WPP, and every single source I found from Apple Podcasts to Podcast Index to Podnews and even Google agreed that this was a limited thematic series of episodes for the ersatz H3 Podcast, which can be easily verified by examining its canonical feed document, specifically lines 7,803–10,799 as of this writing (they will naturally shift lower with each new episode published).
Of course I'm always open to reviewing other sources if someone has them, so please cite them here if you know of any. You couldn't hope to understand how personally abhorrent I find deletionism to be; this would only be the second or third one I'd felt compelled to initiate in over two decades of contributing here, but that's honestly where I'm at with this one based on the information in hand. This should be a section on the H3 Podcast article, full stop. — ℛogueScholar ₨🗩 00:08, 1 June 2024 (UTC)
- I don't know. I agree with Redirect. -- Ssilvers (talk) 00:15, 1 June 2024 (UTC)
