  • Good catch.
• "Positioned on the quarterdeck and the forecastle were another 194 mm RML" - not an RML. The 194 mms were smoothbore.
• I wonder if it would be useful to indicate briefly the outcome of the Franco-Prussian War.
• You don't seem to use de Balincourt & Vincent-Bréchignac 1975b
