GA review (see here for criteria)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
'Océan was a wooden-hulled, armored frigate built for the French Navy in the mid to late 1860s, the lead ship of her class.' - 'and the lead ship of her class'
'Late in the ship's career four above-water 356-millimeter (14.0 in) torpedo tubes were added.' - Merge to previous paragraph to get rid of fragment sentence
    Done and done.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
Do we know why she was recalled from the blockade?
    The entire squadron was recalled.
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

A small article that would seem to be as comprehensive as it can be about a ship that essentially did very little. A few points and it can be passed. Skinny87 (talk) 08:42, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
