Fate
[edit]It is said this boat ended its life against the British. It was against the Bretons insurgents, helped by the British Marine. She was used to fire at them at the mouth of Loire. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.243.54.38 (talk) 17:42, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
History of L’Hermione is wrong, here!
[edit]As Wikipedia describes elsewhere, about the Marquis de Lafayette, HE RETURNED TO AMERICA, on the Hermione, for a triumphant return and tour, in 1824 !
So it WAS NOT wrecked in 1790 !
This MUST be verified and then corrected, or my understanding will have to be very much altered! Alpine Joy (talk) 02:42, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
- NOT run aground and wrecked in 1793, to be precise. Alpine Joy (talk) 02:49, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
