[edit]1.
- "was a one of five Gloire-class armored cruisers " - I don't think "a" is necessary
- " two singe-gun wing turrets" - I'm not particularly familiar with naval warfare, so I can't tell if "singe-gun" is a term I'm not familiar or a typo for "single"
- Maybe I'm just missing something, but I'm struggling to find where the 174mm armor thickness for the barbettes is reflected in the prose
- Infobox says it was laid down on 9 August 1899, prose says February 1901. The 1899 date appears to be the order date.
- Infobox gives completion date of 17 April 1904, prose gives 1 April 1904
- No need to link Canada per MOS:OVERLINK
- "and she had required frequent repairs until she was sent to Brest for a refit in March 1916." - Not sure that "had" is necessary
- Link Brest in the prose, most North American readers don't have a great grasp of French geography

- Generally Wordpress isn't a great source, but since it just seems to be hosting a primary source report, it's accessable, since the report is reliable and I'm assuming good faith that the Canada At War Blog properly posted the contents of the report. If a better hosting of the content is available, I'd recommend using that before taking this article to ACR or FAC.
- I'm not seeing where the "French Cruiser Sully" from the references is cited at all. If it's not used, move to further reading.
- The EL redirects to a home page, repair or remove.
- Is there an OCLC, ISBN, or ISSN available for Kennan?
