[edit]I'm a bit puzzled by this page. The protests did take place but they were not that important by French standards, they just occurred over a weekend and they had no effect. The page looks like it wants to give these protests more importance than they actually had. The anti-Le Pen protests during the 2002 election were 'much more spectacular and as far as I can tell they do not have their own article.
Moreover, these protests were not really agaisnt Barnier as a person or as a politician, and more agaisnt Macron's choice of not appointing a left-wing PM. Note that the French-language Wikipedia did not even see fit to create a page about this subject.
IMHO the best thing to do would be to redirect this page and merge it as a paragraph with Barnier government. Psychloppos (talk) 07:55, 4 October 2024 (UTC)
- That's fine. But you need to actually merge rather than delete. (See page history) -- SashiRolls 🌿 · 🍥 17:23, 13 October 2024 (UTC)
