  • This Fremont Peak (Wyoming) is the major one. It was long thought to be the highest point in the Rockies, maybe even North America. It was also known a lot earlier than the peaks in California and Arizona. It is the third highest point in Wyoming and not just another mountain in a chain such as the Sierras surrounded by bigger mountains.--MONGO 11:10, 23 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
