table of alumni

[edit]

I do no treally think the table of notable alumni and faculty is appropriate at all, given the separate articles for Tulane people. But at least it should be reduced . First, in university articles the names are simply listed--their accomplishments are in the articles on the individual people. Second, people without articles should not be listed unless their accomplishments make it obvious they should have an article, in which case red-links are appropriate (along with a few words to indicate the obviousness). Thanks -- I am taking a look at this. M-banker-212 (talk) 14:20, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The tables are being omitted and the sections reworked. I am deleting some faculty-member names. M-banker-212 (talk) 17:55, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The section is now more consistent with other schools, like Harvard, Wharton, Berkeley (Haas), Michigan, Stanford, Rutgers, and others. M-banker-212 (talk) 02:44, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This table of Alumni seems really excessive. Keeping only alumnus with a wiki article seems the way to go. Any relevant objection? Swissjane (talk) 16:28, 23 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
