Status of article in progress
[edit]Currently there are four main tasks as I see it for this article, in order of importance:
- Sections need to be added for missing countries Done
- Long and detailed sections should be split to separate articles and replaced with summaries
- Existing sections that have not been updated recently need to be assessed for accuracy
- Long and detailed sections for countries X such that "Freedom of religion in country X" already exists need to be carefully merged into those articles, which are often very messy. An example of this currently in the article is Belgium.

Validity of source 51
[edit]Source 51 is making claims on what politician Päivi Räsänen was accused of (among other things, posting a Bible on social media) in the context of demonstrating religious freedom in Finland. However, it seems the source document links to no primary source for its claims and is openly biased in favour of Räsänen's beliefs being morally justified and the court case being unjust: would call its validity and accuracy into question. 2001:14BB:A7:CC18:0:A:F02B:E901 (talk) 14:54, 11 June 2024 (UTC)
- Those objections seem valid, and it seems that the content in question is no longer at its source article Religion in Finland--WP:SOFIXIT. signed, Rosguill talk 15:09, 11 June 2024 (UTC)
- sorry for not just editing the article, haven't edited before and I figured it'd be safer to bring up the issue here first. 46.132.64.239 (talk) 06:43, 12 June 2024 (UTC)
